Soil Conservation - Equipment rental
Dewey County Conservation District is seeking a qualified individual for District Technician located in Taloga, OK
Individual must be willing to work outside; some computer skills required. The individual must be able to perform strenuous physical labor, mange time wisely, prioritize needs, develop schedules, exercise initiative, work independently and be willing to learn new skills. Individual must have a valid drivers license and willing to do a background check.
Duties include operation and maintenance of flood control structures and rehabilitation projects, operation, maintenance, and scheduling of district equipment, maintenance of district building and property, assisting landowners in planning and implementing conservation practices, assisting with district programs and duties as needed or assigned. Must be willing to work towards obtaining a certified applicators license for aquatic and right of way.
Salary and Benefits - $15.00 per hour, health insurance, retirement plan, vacation, and sick leave.
